Catapult Cruzers had been quiet for a while as we revamped the manufacturing process, design and company. We’re back, and ready to get the word back out there.

The design process and and manufacturing process were kind of tied into each other, and partially a result of the company changes. We are proud to announce the partnership of our new efficiency expert, Eric Shuff. Eric has helped with some of the challenges we’ve experienced over the years, mainly with consistency of the product, the time it took to create the product, and the ability to repair it if an accident happened (such as shooting it into a tree).

We took it up our selves to learn CAD, and after SEVERAL iterations of the Cruzer we have something I think we can be proud of. It’s more modular now, and always the exact same size. The only differences in the competition will come from the designs of the Cruzer’s assembly by the final user, and not from the process at the shop.

We’re also pushing the ideas of STEM in the building and flying of the Cruzer. It’s a natural fit, as we discuss canards, wind speed, wing surface area, and thrust. We’re always happy to add what we can to the imagination of some future engineers.
